It’s all about the laughs at Getaway Comedy. Expect a delicious mix of playful, unapologetic, dark, punchy and (most importantly) very funny stand-up. Line-ups are booked purely on merit (ie. how funny each act is), with an emphasis on making sure there’s a variety of comedic styles for you to enjoy throughout the show. A spoonful of observational, a sprinkling of one-liners, a pinch of musical, a dollop of the daft… you get the picture. Getaway Comedy have been putting on shows for over a decade (previously under the banner of The Stand-Up Club), and have built up a reputation as one of the best run and funniest comedy clubs in the UK.
