Ramsey Smith is a comedian from Sydney, Australia. A Raw Comedy State Finalist for NSW in 2024, Ramsey has quickly made a name for himself since starting comedy in 2022. He has performed at the Sydney Fringe Festival and Perth Fringe World Festival and is known for being one of the hardest-working comedians in the industry. In 2025, Ramsey moved to London, continuing to expand his international comedy presence. He has opened for Rory Lowe.

Line-ups are booked purely on merit (ie. how funny each act is), with an emphasis on making sure there’s a variety of comedic styles for you to enjoy throughout the show. A spoonful of observational, a sprinkling of one-liners, a pinch of musical, a dollop of the daft… you get the picture. With all the crap going on in the world, Getaway Comedy is an opportunity to escape to laughter for a couple of hours.
Getaway Comedy have been putting on shows for over a decade (previously under the banner of The Stand-Up Club), and have built up a reputation as one of the best run and funniest comedy clubs in the UK.
